How to Get Started
Go to va.gov
Type va.gov in your browser. This is the official site for all veteran services.
Create a Login.gov or ID.me account
Click "Sign in" at the top. You'll need a photo ID and email to verify your identity.
Access your VA dashboard
Once signed in, you can see your benefits, appointments, prescriptions, and claims all in one place.
Apply for benefits
Use the "Apply for Benefits" section to start applications for healthcare, disability, or pension.

Can't create an account▾
Try using Login.gov first. If that fails, call 1-800-827-1000 for help getting set up.
Don't know if I'm eligible▾
Most veterans who served on active duty are eligible for some benefits. Use the eligibility checker at va.gov/eligibility.
Claim is taking too long▾
Average processing is 3-6 months. Check status online. Call the White House VA Hotline (1-855-948-2311) if concerned.
Can't access telehealth appointment▾
Download the VA Video Connect app from App Store or Google Play. Test your camera and microphone before the appointment.
