Troubleshooting
Application was rejectedβΎ
Common reasons: duplicate (another household member already has Lifeline) or missing proof documents. Only one Lifeline benefit per household.
Don't know which provider to chooseβΎ
Compare providers in your state at lifelinesupport.org. Look for ones offering smartphones or home internet, not just minutes.
Need to recertify but missed deadlineβΎ
Contact your provider immediately. You have a grace period before the benefit is removed.
ACP program ended β what now?βΎ
The Affordable Connectivity Program ended in June 2024. Lifeline still provides $9.25/month discount. Check with your provider for transition options.
