How to Take a Screenshot on iPad / iPad Air
Follow these simple steps to take a screenshot on your iPad / iPad Air. Each step is one action — nice and easy.
Step-by-Step Instructions

If your iPad has a Home button: press the Home button and the top button together.

If your iPad has no Home button: press the top button and a volume button together.

Release both buttons quickly.

A preview appears in the corner. Tap to edit or swipe to save.

Find your screenshot in Photos > Albums > Screenshots.
Helpful Tip
On iPad, you can also swipe from the bottom-left corner with an Apple Pencil to take a screenshot.
