Arthritis / Limited Dexterity Settings on Windows PC
Windows offers several features to reduce reliance on precise mouse and keyboard movements.
Settings to Turn On

Voice Typing
Press Windows + H to start voice typing anywhere
Dictate text instead of typing.

Sticky Keys
Settings → Accessibility → Keyboard → Sticky Keys → turn ON
Press Ctrl, Alt, Shift one at a time instead of holding them together.

Mouse Keys
Settings → Accessibility → Mouse → Mouse Keys → turn ON
Move the mouse cursor using the number pad on your keyboard.

Increase Mouse Pointer Size
Settings → Accessibility → Mouse Pointer → increase size
Larger pointer is easier to see and position.

Click Lock
Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Mouse → Additional Settings → Click Lock → turn ON
Highlight text and drag without holding the mouse button down.
Helpful Tip
A trackball mouse or vertical mouse can be much more comfortable for arthritic hands than a standard mouse.
