Tips for Seniors

  • Star important emails by tapping the star icon next to them. Find starred emails by tapping the menu (three lines) and selecting "Starred."

  • Delete junk by swiping right on an email, or select multiple by long-pressing and checking boxes.

  • Set up a signature: tap the menu (three lines) > Settings > your email > Signature Settings. Type something like "Sent from my iPhone."

  • Gmail's search is very powerful — if you remember even one word from an email, you can find it.
