Common Issues & Solutions

Gmail does not load in Safari
Try clearing Safari cache in Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data. Update Safari and macOS to the latest version. Try Chrome as an alternative.
I cannot drag and drop attachments
In the compose window, you can drag files from Finder directly into the email. Alternatively, click the paperclip icon to browse for files.
Desktop notifications do not work
In Gmail, click the gear icon > See all settings > General > Desktop Notifications and enable them. Also check Mac System Settings > Notifications for your browser.
